Teen Potential Assessment.
12-19 Ages.

It is one of the most frustrating positions a parent can be in: you know your child is bright, sharp, and deeply capable, yet their school reports, emotional behaviour, and daily battles tell a completely different story. Most parents know when something has shifted. The child who used to engage withdraws. What they rarely have is a clear, objective, clinically grounded answer to why and what to do next. This assessment gives families that answer.

Supportive

A complete, multi-dimensional assessment picture of how the teenager or young adult brain is actually functioning and why their academic and emotional output does not match their potential. Our supprtive Teen Potential assessment gives you that answer, through a dedicated, one-to-one clinical evaluation with your teenager.

  • Brown EF/A & D-REF: To look at attention, focus, and daily executive function.
  • BASC-3 & BYI-2: To evaluate emotional well-being, stress, and self-perception.

The Teen Potential Assessment?

Target Audience : Parents desperate to understand their child's internal barriers.

The Core Question?

"Why is my teen struggling mentally, emotionally, or organisationally?"

What it Measures?

Behavior, emotional distress, executive dysfunction, and focus.

The Output

A clinical, therapeutic formulation and coaching/parenting plan.

A Complete Assessment For The Teen Brain

Four Pearson Level B validated tools. Each operating on a different level of clinical analysis. Together they produce a complete, multi-dimensional picture of how the teenager or young adult brain is actually functioning and why their academic and emotional output does not match their potential.

Brown EF/A

Executive Function

Measures six clusters of executive function, these are Activation, Focus, Effort, Emotion, Memory, and Action. It identifies the Will vs Skill gap. A student who has the ability but cannot activate reveals a clinical deficit that fundamentally changes how intervention is designed

BASC-3

Environment

A broad behavioural assessment covering anxiety, depression, adaptability, and functional communication. Comparing what parents report with the individual’s own lived experience to clarify whether under‑performance is driven by internal factors or external factors.

D-REF

Daily Functional

Measures behavioural regulation, metacognition, and emotion regulation as they manifest in real-time daily life. Identifies whether the student is metacognitively aware of their own learning process and produces a precise habit profile for intervention to support the individual going forward.

BYI-2

The Emotional Floor

Five brief self-report inventories covering depression, anxiety, anger, disruptive behaviour, and self-concept. Measures how the student perceives themselves — a critical clinical variable, since low self-concept often drives academic self-sabotage regardless of ability

The Benefits

  • Pinpoints Hidden Roadblocks – Separates your child's natural intelligence from hidden struggles with focus and memory.
  • Decodes Hidden Stress – Uncovers the exact academic anxiety and exam pressure that teenagers often mask.
  • Ends Homework Battles – Replaces frustrating arguments over "laziness" and procrastination with objective understanding.
  • Stops Wasting Money on Tutors – Reveals the exact cognitive bottlenecks to fix.
  • Delivers a Concrete Roadmap – Provides a clear, step-by-step strategic masterplan to unlock your teen.

Proactive Results

A clinical answer to the question you have been asking Not a vague impression or a teacher's observation — a precise, professionally interpreted picture of exactly where your child's cognitive process is breaking down and why.

Evidence your child's school has to take seriously The audit produces clinically validated, standardised scores that meet the evidential requirements for exam access arrangements under JCQ regulations. Extra time, a separate room, rest breaks, a laptop — these are not favours the school grants. T

A child who finally understands themselves One of the most powerful moments in the feedback process is watching a teenager hear for the first time that the way they experience school is not laziness, weakness, or stupidity. It is a measurable cognitive pattern.

Time back on your side GCSEs and A-Levels do not wait. Every term that passes without the right support is a term your child cannot recover.

A Note To Those
Who Are Still Wondering

If you have read this far and you are sitting with a question about yourself, or about someone you love, we want to say this directly:

Your experience is real. The difficulty you have felt is real. The exhaustion of performing neurotypicality in a world that was not designed for you is real. And the question you are carrying, however long you have been carrying it, deserves a proper answer.

You do not have to have certainty before you start. You do not have to have a clear idea of what you are looking for. You just have to be willing to find out.

NEUROVERIFY is here when you are ready.
