You have been wondering for years. You deserve an answer.

The NHS waiting list for adult ADHD assessment is now running at five to seven years in many areas. Autism assessment waits are similar. That is not a timeline, it is a sentence. NeuroVerify Clinical built to give you what the system cannot: a clinically grounded, professionally delivered screening assessment that tells you what you are dealing with and what to do about it now.

The Problem We Solve

Across adolescence and adulthood, ADHD, Autism, and AuDHD are still widely missed, especially in high‑masking teens, women, and adults who have spent years compensating without support. NeuroVerify provides clinically validated screening from age 12 upwards, giving you clear answers without the waiting‑list lottery.

Whether you’re a teenager who has always felt different, a professional who has masked through work and relationships, or a parent recognising your own traits through your child’s journey, our assessments meet you exactly where you are. You receive Essential or Full Assessments, each supported by a dedicated Neurodiversity Practitioner.

  • Our screening is ideal if you:
  • Suspect ADHD, Autism, or AuDHD
  • Were previously told you “don’t meet criteria” but still struggle
  • Recognise yourself in the term AuDHD
  • Feel exhausted from masking and want to understand why
  • Support a neurodivergent partner or adolescent and want clarity

You do not need a GP referral to begin, just the desire for answers that finally make sense.

The Numbers | Why We Matter

Across the UK, the scale of unidentified neurodivergence is significant and the consequences of delayed clarity are felt in every part of life.

• Up to 50% of people with ADHD are first misdiagnosed with anxiety or depression, delaying appropriate support and increasing long‑term mental‑health risks. Reference: Royal College of Psychiatrists, ADHD in Adults: Good Practice Guidelines, 2021.

These numbers highlight a simple truth: People are waiting too long, struggling too much, and receiving answers far too late. That is why NeuroVerify exists. We provide fast, clinically informed, professionally interpreted screening that gives individuals, families, schools, and employers the clarity they need now, not years from now. Early insight helps people understand their neurotype sooner, make informed decisions earlier, and access the right support without delay.

Early insight changes outcomes. Early clarity changes lives.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know about NeuroVerify — before you start, during your pathway, and after your results.

Is NeuroVerify aligned and what age group do you cover?

All NeuroVerify staff hold appropriate professional qualifications and are registered with their relevant professional body. Our screening assessment is aligned with UK Health NICE guidelines CG142 and NG87 for autism and ADHD, respectively. NeuroVerify operates in full compliance with UK GDPR. We provide screening assessments for adolescents 12-17 and adults 18+.

What is NeuroVerify Assessment?

NeuroVerify uses clinically validated assessments to provide a structured, evidence‑based evaluation of whether ADHD, Autism, or AuDHD may be present. Our screening determines whether your results are consistent with a neurodevelopmental condition and outlines the most appropriate next steps. Your assessment Outcome Pack brings together your assessment results, professional interpretation, and the supporting evidence. This enables us to work with you, your school, SENCO, university, your workplace or your GP straight away and start supporting you.

We Are NHS Aligned

In the UK, formal diagnosis status can only be signed by an NHS‑recognised clinician (i.e HCPC/NHS clinical psychologist). While our assessments meet all NHS NICE clinical guidelines and use Pearsons Clinical diagnostic assessments, it is not a signed diagnosis. It is designed to be a clear, organised, and clinically aligned summary assessment ready for review and immediate sign off so you can start taking action today.

Do I need a GP referral to use NeuroVerify?

No. You can self-refer to NeuroVerify without a GP referral. You simply register on our website and choose your screening assessment.

How long does the process take?

Essential Triage results will be given to you in approximately 7 days for adults and young adults from time of screening.  The full pathway from registration to written report typically takes 3 to 6 weeks.

Neurodiversity Coaching?

Neurodiversity coaching is a specialist form of coaching, distinct from therapy, counselling, and mentoring that helps neurodivergent people understand their neurotype in practical terms and build strategies that work with how their brain actually functions rather than against it.

It is not about fixing you. There is nothing to fix. It is about understanding how your brain works, identifying where the mismatch between your neurotype and your environment is creating difficulty, and working out what can change in your behaviour, your environment, your workplace, your relationships, or your approach to daily life to make things genuinely more manageable.

A Note To Those
Who Are Still Wondering

If you have read this far and you are sitting with a question about yourself, or about someone you love, we want to say this directly:

Your experience is real. The difficulty you have felt is real. The exhaustion of performing neurotypicality in a world that was not designed for you is real. And the question you are carrying, however long you have been carrying it, deserves a proper answer.

You do not have to have certainty before you start. You do not have to have a clear idea of what you are looking for. You just have to be willing to find out.

NEUROVERIFY is here when you are ready.
